how long until a BotW-caliber experience in VR

I played a VR demo once (wireless oculus) for about 15 minutes at a guy’s house but I was so overwhelmed by the immersion I swore I would not play anymore. I want to wait until I can play an amazing AAA experience so I don’t “ruin the newness” before the content is worth it

What kinda commitment do you think I’m looking at?
