Lemme whip up a pcpp |
Maybe something Like this |
I didn’t include monitor or hard drives |
I also just went with nvidia though you can get a 5700xt as well for roughly equal performance to a 2070/2070s |
Not sure what your workload is like you can also upgrade the CPU to a 3700X if you need more threads |
I’d definitely get a higher refresh rate monitor if you’re planning on gaming |
yeah its just better value to get AMD CPUs right now. Unless you’re hardcore into gaming and literally nothing else, where a 9700K or 9900K would be a bit better |
Right now I have a 1080p Curved VA 144Hz monitor for gaming, and a 1440p 60Hz IPS for watching movies n stuff. Def want to get a 144Hz 1440p IPS tho to replace my current 1080p VA |
Do they have RGB illumination in nippon |
are you gonna try this |
new shit coming out intel released their 10-series desktop parts |
Nvidia RTX 3080 and 3090 leaked |
Apparently just the cooling solution that leaked costs them $150 to manufacture or something wild |
lol @ the intro to this ltt vid |
its an ad for seasonic but they don’t even show the power supply in the vid iirc |
Latest is PCIe 4.0 which is currently only available on AMD x570 platform and i think probably threadripper. Of course you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a PCIe 3 nvme drive and a PCIe 4 nvme drive unless you had a specific I/O bottleneck before. Samsung is always the #1 name but I never buy them because they’re overpriced. For the average user, basically any SSD that has a DRAM cache is good enough for a primary boot drive and for storage you can cheap out even further and you probably won’t notice a difference (except for initial defect rates I guess) |
Did you actually need a DVD drive or it just came with one because japan lolz |
tbh all the info i know about ssds i’ve learned from reddit lol |
those overclockable sandy bridge -> haswell parts are still relevant |
Just nabbed 2x 1080Tis from a dude for under $1000 canadian gonna try to sell at least one for like $600 |
