what is the latest game youre playing

interesting. i always had the same issue with directional input but never thought about playing a fighting game on pc

ive been playing mario xcom a bit it’s pretty cool
i like how the “mario + rpg elements” kind of games simplify the mechanics and focus on gameplay

been playing ragnarok online lolz

im back to mario galaxy got like 720 moons maybe going for the 100%

fuck volleyball and jump rope and bouncy races

i love my two switch games

very relaxing 4X game
i love how the different factions have such different gameplay. my favorite are the tree people who root up the galaxy and take over systems via ‘pacifism’

i got warhammer vermintide 2 and its cool i can be a crazy cat lady wizard except instead of obsessed with cats shes obsessed with fire

i played this for a bit, its fun with friends. i also played the fire woman and blasted dudes with my laser staff.
ultimately the lack of real MMO-like mechanics kind of bothered me. it’s more like left 4 dead or something i guess (never played l4d) but i would like something like more PSO. i want healing and stuff

just watched it, nice work typhy show those streamers who’s boss

lately ive been looking for a chill space game but i got cogmind instead and its very unchill but its fun
the text graphics are beautiful and the UI & controls are really good for a roguelike

of course i enabled text mode immediately, fuck tiles

I’ve been ALL ABOUT Endless Legend lately
it’s so good
even tops MoM in a few ways which I didn’t think any 4X really could

ive been playing a shitload of endless space 2 lately. never played endless legends but i bet it owns

getting into brood war again
been watching lots of pro SC and it inspired me
working my way thru the campaign rn
it’s trippy playing the remastered version

looks like I’m about 70-80 apm and like 120 in big fights
so pretty terrible
multitasking is rly hard

i rekt my friend with this cheese build though it was a lot of fun

and yeah i’ve never been much good at RTSes in a human competitive sense
i always played them for the campaigns

I always just played custom maps (UMS in Starcraft)
I never even played the campaigns properly
but I’m finally doing that for the first time and it’s a ton of fun
almost done with the Zerg campaign in vanilla SC

i’ve played nethack on and off since i was like 10 and never beaten it

been playing Baba Is You, it owns
makes you feel both dumb and smart

it’s kind of like sokoban but you push around blocks that change the rules of the game
so like baba is the main character and you 3 blocks that are baba, is, you next to each other which means you control baba. but (depending on the level) you can change it to ‘wall is you’ instead and now you’re controlling the walls. there’s all kinds of properties you can mess with and the puzzles are very mind-bending
also there’s a reverse time button so if you push a block into a wall accidentally you can just undo it ez
it’s hard to explain but the trailer does a good job. i’m not a huge fan of sokoban style games but this one is different

finished Ciconia the other day
very much enjoyed it

at first i thought it was kind of lame because of the emphasis on battle scenes and weird mecha vibes, but it’s a true When They Cry story through and through with lots of intrigue and crazy foreshadowing

i picked up Umineko Saku in akihabara today (got a cool when they cry calendar too) so i’m looking forward to reading the extra little story

wow classic → luigi’s mansion 3 → dwarf fortress

luigi’s mansion was a lot of fun
kind of burnt out on wow but i hit 60 no ragrets
df i haven’t played in a while and it’s fun seeing new stuff (bigass trees!)

i like isaac but i cant bring myself to grind for 100%

the core gameplay is the same as the original but they added a bunch of meta progression type stuff that adds a ton of playability
the systems they use are really similar to the two games i made but implemented 100x better lolz

also added some new weapons which are neat
